Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eric Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Lusion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brooks comes to the cage accompanied by Born Ready. Anthony Lusion has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Brooks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anthony Lusion!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Lusion keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Lusion closes the distance and clinches.

Brooks manages to pull guard.

Lusion drops back looking for a leg! Brooks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brooks manages to kick Lusion off! Lusion jumps back into Brooks's guard.
Lusion postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Lusion lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Lusion trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Lusion is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Brooks trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Brooks tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Brooks working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lusion doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lusion manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lusion accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lusion in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Lusion drops back looking for a leg! Brooks is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brooks manages to kick Lusion off! Lusion jumps back into Brooks's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Lusion tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Brooks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Lusion drives through and clinches with Brooks against the cage.
Brooks fails to pull guard.
Lusion lands a knee to the head.
Lusion makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Brooks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lusion pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Brooks. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lusion throws an overhand right that lands on Brooks's shoulder, as Brooks tries to avoid the shot.
Brooks shoots in looking for a takedown. Lusion tries to sprawl out of it but Brooks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lusion manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lusion blocks a jab.
Lusion wants to clinch.
Brooks changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Lusion tries to avoid it but Brooks manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Lusion to the ground. Lusion escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Brooks throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lusion sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lusion looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nice takedown defense from Lusion. No joy for Brooks on that attempt.
Brooks is breathing heavily.

Lusion lands with a short shot to the head.
Brooks goes for a takedown in the clinch but Lusion prevents it.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Lusion.

Lusion pulls guard effortlessly.

Lusion is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Brooks frees his head nicely. Oh but Lusion has switched to an armbar! Brooks is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
