The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luster with a jab.
McColgan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Luster with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Luster misses with a wild combination.
McColgan connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Luster's hands.

McColgan misses with an uppercut. Luster saw that one coming.
Luster has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McColgan tries to move into range but Luster moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McColgan throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Luster misses with an uppercut.
A kick lands to the mid section there for McColgan.
Luster takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Luster lands a leg kick that knocks McColgan off balance momentarily.

McColgan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Luster sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Luster feints and then cracks McColgan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McColgan down.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McColgan, as that shot connected.
McColgan tries to keep at a distance but Luster has taken the fight into the clinch.
I was talking to McColgan's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
McColgan misses with a hook to the ribs.
McColgan tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
