Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Liam Donnelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caleb Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Danny Boy. Caleb Smith will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Liam Donnelly! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caleb Smith! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith's corner calls for a 1-2. Smith obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Smith throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Donnelly counters with a shoot takedown. Smith fights it but they end up in guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Smith preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Donnelly thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Donnelly stays in close to Smith's body and controls the position. Donnelly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Donnelly scoring with some ground and pound. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Donnelly is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Donnelly has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donnelly postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it. Donnelly is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Smith is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Donnelly is aware though and is defending well. Donnelly landing some decent shots from guard. Donnelly engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Donnelly trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donnelly is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smith is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Liam Donnelly. Donnelly slips a straight right by Smith. Donnelly keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith. Smith has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Donnelly is just out of range. Smith lands a nice shot that snaps Donnelly's head back.
Smith gets tackled into the cage by Donnelly. Donnelly maintains the clinch. Donnelly misses with a short punch on the inside. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Donnelly. Nice body punch from Donnelly - that landed with a thud.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Donnelly lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Donnelly presses Smith against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. A short body shot lands from Donnelly as the two fighters clinch.
Smith blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Donnelly lands a hook to the side of the head. Nice body punch from Donnelly. Donnelly can't find room to land a body shot as Smith controls the action.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Donnelly creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Donnelly lands an uppercut. Nice body punch from Donnelly. Donnelly misses with a body punch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Donnelly softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Smith is rocked! Smith is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Donnelly is keeping busy. Smith is still on wobbly legs! Can Donnelly finish him?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Donnelly lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Donnelly unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Smith! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Donnelly is unloading with more strikes now! Smith drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Liam Donnelly! Liam Donnelly was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. Caleb Smith spoke after the fight, saying 'I didn't prepare a loss speech, i never lose'.
