Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Savs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Parker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bob Savs! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Savs! Savs is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Parker takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Savs is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Parker looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Parker is breathing heavily. Parker is thwarting Savs's attempts to control the position. Parker seems to be looking for submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though. Savs wants to get back to full guard. Parker prevents Savs from standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Savs can do anything to dispel that myth. Savs is controlling Parker's position as best he can from this difficult position. Savs is looking to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Parker stops Savs from getting back to his feet.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Savs shoots and misses and Parker decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Savs's guard. Savs keeping full guard, as Parker tries to pass. Parker has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Savs is proving hard to escape from. Savs is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Savs seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Savs feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savs wants to control from the top but Parker keeps moving. Savs is looking to stand up but Parker won't let him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parker throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Savs fails with a takedown attempt. Some bone on bone action there as Parker checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Parker tries to clinch up. Savs misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Parker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Savs counters with a takedown into side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Savs wants to control but Parker is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savs is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Parker knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Parker can't do much from the bottom here. Savs wants to control but Parker is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Savs laying and praying for a moment but Parker takes advantage and regains half guard. Parker is trying to get back to full guard. Parker is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Savs pulls his head out easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Savs shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Savs looking to sit in guard and control but Parker gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Peter Parker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Parker is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savs keeping moving, preventing Parker from controlling successfully. Savs is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Savs is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Savs is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Bob Savs showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Parker with a lazy takedown attempt and Savs counters with a left and a right that stings Parker. Savs wants to clinch and Parker counters with a shoot takedown. Savs fights it but they end up in guard. Savs is looking for a triangle but Parker pushes his legs off easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Parker is thwarting Savs's attempts to control the position. Parker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Savs really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Parker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Savs has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Savs wants to control but Parker passes into side.
Parker tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Parker has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Savs is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Parker is controlling him well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savs is looking for a sweep. Parker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Savs, who protects the arm well. Savs gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Savs is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Parker prevents Savs from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parker moves to back control. Parker has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Savs has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Parker looking to break Savs's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Savs remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Parker will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Parker is hanging on to Savs's back as he tries to escape.

And that's the end of the fight! Peter Parker showed his dominance in that final round. Well Parker has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
