Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Baki Hanma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Respect Fadda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fadda has chosen Remember the Name as his entrance music. Baki Hanma has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baki Hanma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Respect Fadda! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fadda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hanma but Hanma pushes him off and we're back to square one. Fadda takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Good leg kick by Hanma there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hanma looks for the body kick but Fadda saw that one coming. Hanma turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Fadda shoots in but no luck this time. Fadda fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Baki Hanma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Respect Fadda. Fadda avoids a kick to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hanma lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Fadda shoots in and drives through. Hanma sprawls well. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Fadda crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hanma - the referee stops the clock and Fadda gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hanma. Fadda manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Fadda looks winded! Hanma misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

No luck for Fadda with that takedown attempt. Hanma throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Fadda stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Hanma follows into mount!
Fadda is rocked! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Fadda bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Fadda is still in real trouble! Can Hanma finish him? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hanma looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fadda seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fadda thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Fadda drops back looking for a leg! Hanma is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hanma manages to kick Fadda off! Fadda jumps back into Hanma's guard. Hanma looking to control but Fadda passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fadda trying to mount his opponent but Hanma defends it. Hanma is refusing to be controlled, as Fadda sits in half guard. Hanma trying to control but Fadda postures up.
Fadda looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fadda seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Hanma is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
