Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mustaffa Spliff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michal Tarnowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tarnowski has chosen Hemp Gru - Sami swoi as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Spliff has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michal Tarnowski! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tarnowski shoots in but Spliff avoids the takedown attempt easily. Spliff fails in his attempt to clinch. Tarnowski throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Mustaffa Spliff seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tarnowski keeps Spliff at a distance using the push kick. Spliff is breathing heavily. Tarnowski pushes Spliff away with a front kick. Spliff tries to sprawl but Tarnowski drives through with a takedown into half guard. Tarnowski is nestled in close to Spliff, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Tarnowski missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Spliff is trying to stand back up but Tarnowski is controlling him
Tarnowski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Spliff has managed to free his arm - good work. This has been an exciting period of action! Tarnowski seems to be looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Spliff is refusing to be controlled, as Tarnowski sits in half guard. Tarnowski thows a huge punch but Spliff dodges it nicely.
Spliff pushes Tarnowski off looking to stand but Tarnowski dives back in and keeps control.
Tarnowski thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Tarnowski sitting and controlling from the half guard. Spliff wants to get back to his feet. Tarnowski throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Spliff keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Well, if Tarnowski is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Tarnowski takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Tarnowski missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Tarnowski is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Spliff is trying to stand up here but Tarnowski is controlling him well. Tarnowski is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tarnowski is looking to advance position but Spliff won't allow it. Tarnowski is working for a kimura but Spliff is defending it quite comfortably.

Tarnowski is looking to take a break and control but Spliff is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tarnowski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Tarnowski is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Tarnowski throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Spliff tries to kick Tarnowski off but Tarnowski keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Tarnowski wants to take a breather but Spliff is having none of it. Tarnowski is looking for a kimura but Spliff is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tarnowski to get the leverage. Spliff is looking to get back to is feet but Tarnowski passes into side control.
Tarnowski misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Spliff managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Tarnowski.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Tarnowski tries to advance to mount but Spliff denies him. Tarnowski trying to control the position but Spliff is working away. Spliff is working to avoid the ground and pound but Tarnowski connects with a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michal Tarnowski dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tarnowski with a nice cross. Tarnowski fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Spliff avoids it really well and circles away. Tarnowski lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Good leg kick by Tarnowski there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Tarnowski throws a quick inside leg kick. Spliff darts in trying to clinch and Tarnowski counters with a nice double leg into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tarnowski throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Spliff keeping moving, preventing Tarnowski from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Spliff working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tarnowski. Tarnowski cracks Spliff with a solid left hand. Tarnowski wants to control from the top but Spliff keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tarnowski cracks Spliff with a solid left hand. Tarnowski distracts Spliff with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tarnowski controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Tarnowski is standing up over Spliff. Spliff looks to escape but Tarnowski dives into side control.
Tarnowski staying calm. Tarnowski looks up at the clock and then as Spliff takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Tarnowski smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ground and pound from Tarnowski seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Tarnowski connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Spliff some visible discomfort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tarnowski working the ground and pound. Tarnowski looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Tarnowski scores with a couple of short elbows. Tarnowski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spliff is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Tarnowski cracks Spliff with a big elbow.
Spliff is rocked! Tarnowski lands some shots froms side control. Oh Spliff is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Check out the look on Tarnowski's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

That's hurt Spliff! More shots from Tarnowski and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
