The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mims swats away the attempt to clinch by Alan.
Alan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mims is fending him off so far but Alan persists. Nope, Mims circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice takedown defense from Mims. No joy for Alan on that attempt.
Alan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Alan is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Mims pulls his head out easily.

Mims throws out a loose jab but Alan uses good head movement to avoid it.
Bo Mims is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Alan looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Alan closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mims circles away.
Mims moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Alan goes down! Can Mims finish him!?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mims is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mims wants to stand but Alan is controlling his posture from full guard.

Mims cracks Alan with a hook to the temple - Alan is on wobbly legs here! Mims swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Alan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Mims wins by TKO!
