Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Gunnar, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Alemana shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gunnar pinned against the cage. Gunnar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Gunnar looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alemana is fending him off so far but Gunnar persists. Nope, Alemana circles away and we're back to standing.

Alemana looks up at the clock and then as Gunnar takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Alemana smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Alemana is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gunnar is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Alemana decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gunnar to his feet.

The fight stays on the outside here - Gunnar looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Gunnar has a takedown stuffed.
Kelikeke Alemana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leif Gunnar.

Gunnar keeps control of Alemana as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Alemana tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Gunnar just stands there and leans against the cage.
Alemana works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Alemana sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gunnar's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Alemana wants to free his trapped foot but Gunnar is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Alemana works his foot free and advances to mount.

Gunnar tries to close the distance and clinch but Alemana swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and Gunnar decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Alemana's guard.

Alemana is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Alemana bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Alemana wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gunnar keeps working.
Gunnar wants to control the action here but instead Alemana manages to pass to full mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Gunnar wants to hold on but Alemana pushes him away.

Alemana takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Alemana sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Gunnar taps out!
