Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rod Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rider shoots for a takedown but Stevenson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Rider is looking to clinch. Stevenson scores a takedown into full mount! Rider keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rider holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Stevenson tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Rider tries to hold on but Stevenson pushes him away. Stevenson controlling the position easily from mount. Stevenson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Stevenson working for a guillotine from mount but Rider is in no mood to give up. Rider regains half guard. Rider looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rider tries to get to full guard but Stevenson has control of the leg. Stevenson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rider on the ground. Rider gets full guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Rider working for a triangle but Stevenson defends it easily.
Rider is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stevenson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rider has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stevenson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rider looks gassed! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stevenson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stevenson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Rider is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Stevenson tries to stand but Rider is controlling from the bottom. Rider looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stevenson wants to control from the top but Rider keeps moving. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stevenson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Rider utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Stevenson throwing strikes but missing. Stevenson stands up from guard. Let's bang! Stevenson looks for a takedown but Rider sprawls well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rider is looking to clinch but Stevenson is avoiding it.
Rider tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Stevenson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Rider fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rider tries to clinch but Stevenson is having none of it. Rider shoots and misses and Stevenson counters with a single leg into guard. Rider didn't expect that. Rider thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Stevenson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Rider is looking for a triangle but Stevenson pushes his legs off easily.
Rider preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Rider wants to sweep here but Stevenson controlling him for the moment. Rider has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stevenson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stevenson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Rider had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Stevenson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rider Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Stevenson's back instead. This has been an exciting period of action! Stevenson rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Rider is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Stevenson is trying to stand.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rider is trying to work for a kimura but Stevenson is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rod Rider dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Stevenson shoots in and bounces Rider off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Rider looking for a sweep. Not yet Rider, not yet. Stevenson sitting in guard here, content to control. Stevenson keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rider's head. Rider looking for a guillotine here but Stevenson defends easily.
Stevenson postures up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stevenson postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stevenson avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Rider is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Stevenson lands a couple of elbows. Rider avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rider manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Stevenson is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rider throwing strikes here but Stevenson is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Stevenson bucks up and throws Rider to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Rider moves in looking to clinch but Stevenson pushes him off. Rod Rider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rider wants to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Rider looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rider doesn't succeed with the takedown so Stevenson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Stevenson wants to stand but Rider has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Stevenson has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Rider to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stevenson is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Rider pulls down on the head and he's put Stevenson to sleep! This one is all over!
