Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Braden Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mika Zibanejadass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turk comes to the cage accompanied by Status Quo- Deeper and Down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are William Peck, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zibanejadass takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Turk throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Zibanejadass throws a head kick that misses.
Turk pivots, looking for a leg kick but Zibanejadass is out of range and Turk settles back down.
Turk walks into a left hand.
Turk jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zibanejadass misses with a looping left.
Zibanejadass throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Turk dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Turk blocks a jab.
Turk will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Zibanejadass tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Turk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Turk wants it to stay on the feet.

Turk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zibanejadass manages to avoid it.
Turk lands a leg kick that knocks Zibanejadass off balance momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turk throws a front kick aimed at Zibanejadass's knee but Zibanejadass avoids it well.

Braden Turk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Turk is looking to wear down Zibanejadass with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Turk looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Zibanejadass gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Turk tried to score with a low kick but Zibanejadass checks it.
Zibanejadass loads up on a big right hand but Turk slips the punch.
Turk shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Zibanejadass is trying to defend but Turk finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Zibanejadass is looking for a sweep. Turk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Turk throwing shots but Zibanejadass is blocking nicely.
Turk trying to control from half guard but Zibanejadass is working away.

Turk stops Zibanejadass from getting back to his feet.
Turk throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Turk is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Turk cracks Zibanejadass with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turk trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Turk putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Turk is landing with some decent strikes but Zibanejadass is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Turk lands a big elbow.
Zibanejadass tries to lock up and control but Turk gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Turk scoring with strikes but Zibanejadass is staying in there.
Turk has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Zibanejadass's face.
Zibanejadass is rocked!
Turk loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Zibanejadass scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Turk land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Turk stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Braden Turk!
Braden Turk very nearly forgot to thank Hellbent amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
