Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simbo Klice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eli Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Simbo Klice! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
34 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eli Williams! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klice takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Klice misses with a hook to the body
and Klice takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Klice uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Williams.
Klice connects with an inside leg kick. Klice lands a leg kick that knocks Williams off balance momentarily. A right-left combo lands from Klice. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Klice scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Williams doesn't seem bothered though. Williams swings for the body but Klice moves out of range.
Klice misses with a wild body shot. Klice stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Good exchange - Klice coming out on top. Williams staying out of range there. A jab from Williams does it's job there. Williams pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Williams throws a body kick that misses. Klice lands a nice leg kick that just misses Williams's sensitive parts.
That's one minute gone in the round. Klice pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Klice walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Williams checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Klice misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Williams counters with a shoot takedown. Klice fights it but they end up in guard. Williams throwing strikes but missing. Klice looking to hit a scissor sweep but Williams is one step ahead there. Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Klice is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Williams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Klice looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams postures up in Klice's guard and throws a big left but Klice blocks it. Klice controlling Williams's posture. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Williams accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Williams lands a couple of elbows. Williams trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Williams postures up and lands a big shot to Klice's brow. Williams's corner is telling him to maintain position. Williams trying to control but Klice is working from the bottom. Klice tries to land a sweep but no joy. Williams trying to move into half guard but instead Klice has managed to sweep! Williams wants to sweep here but Klice controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Klice has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Williams is proving hard to escape from. Williams is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Williams has control of Klice's left arm, preventing Klice from doing any damage. Williams wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Eli Williams wasn't active enough on the ground. Klice slips under a jab from Williams. Klice lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Klice looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A big left from Williams misses. Klice throws a nice inside leg kick. Williams throws a body shot but no joy. Simbo Klice is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Klice looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
This has been an exciting period of action! A nice leg kick lands there from Klice. Williams takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Williams looks winded! Jab by Klice. Klice moves into range and connects with a jab. Klice cracks Williams with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Klice has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Williams to stand back up!
Williams is rocked! Williams gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Klice points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Williams wakes up just in time to hear Klice thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Simbo Klice! Simbo Klice very nearly forgot to thank Hellraiser FightGear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
