Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sub Zero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Sigurdsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sigurdsson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2ne1 - Can't Nobody. Sub Zero had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Sigurdsson!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.


It looks like Sub Zero has been cut.
Sigurdsson slips under a jab.
Zero swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Zero blocks a jab.
Sigurdsson lands a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sigurdsson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Frank Sigurdsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zero tries to close the distance and clinch but Sigurdsson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Zero looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

We've been told by Zero's head coaches at Kamehameha Fight Club that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Sigurdsson is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Sigurdsson is trying to push Zero away but Zero has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Sigurdsson has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Zero seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Sigurdsson can turn it around.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Sub Zero's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
