The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Burkman there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Zoldyck takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Zoldyck closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Burkman quickly recovers to half guard.
Zoldyck missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Zoldyck landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Zoldyck content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Burkman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zoldyck on the ground.
Zoldyck is looking to advance position but Burkman won't allow it.
