Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Finn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finn comes to the cage accompanied by Von Bondies - C'mon c'mon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finn tries a head kick but it misses.

Spencer bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Finn's head backwards.

Finn shoots in for a takedown but Spencer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Spencer has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Finn is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Spencer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Finn defends it easily.

Finn passes Spencer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Spencer has hold of Finn's hands but Finn slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Spencer is staying active underneath Finn, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Finn wants to free his trapped foot but Spencer is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Spencer holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Spencer wants to control but Finn is keeping busy and won't allow it.

That was a close round but I would say that Mickey Finn will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Spencer rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Finn moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Finn dives in and grabs Spencer's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spencer pushes down on Finn's head and hops out.
Finn shoots in looking for a takedown but Spencer manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Finn's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Spencer is looking to cinch up a triangle. Finn throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Spencer's body to avoid the submission. Spencer has instead reached around Finn's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Spencer arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
