The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimble connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Slicenikov has momentary wrist control but Kimble slips an elbow through the middle.
Kimble is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Kimble must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kimble looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Slicenikov with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kimble moves into range and connects with a jab.

Oh Slicenikov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kimble fakes the body blow, causing Slicenikov to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Slicenikov goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
