Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Juan Pablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rosen Strasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pablo comes to the cage accompanied by smoke the fire. Juan Pablo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Pablo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rosen Strasser! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pablo looks for a takedown but Strasser sprawls well. Strasser lands the left hand. Strasser misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pablo tries to clinch there but Strasser circles away.
Strasser tries to sprawl but Pablo drives through with a takedown into half guard. Pablo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Strasser is concentrating on defense, preventing Pablo from advancing position. Strasser felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Pablo is pressing down on Strasser's thigh, looking to free his foot. Strasser is holding on for now. Strasser is staying active underneath Pablo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Juan Pablo just wasn't active enough. Pablo has his takedown stuffed and Strasser counters with a nice uppercut. Pablo fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Pablo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pablo is breathing heavily. Strasser works Pablo's body with a nice hook. Strasser with a jab. Juan Pablo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pablo shoots in but no luck this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pablo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Strasser wants to get back to full guard. Pablo trying to control from half guard but Strasser is working away. Strasser tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Pablo has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strasser can't escape the position.
Pablo jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Strasser is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Strasser and Pablo has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pablo wants to control but Strasser is keeping him busy. Strasser regains half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pablo is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Strasser still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Strasser has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Strasser advances to full mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rosen Strasser will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Strasser fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Pablo slips a jab and a cross from Strasser.
Pablo on the wrong end of a nice hook. Strasser displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pablo. Pablo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Strasser but Strasser pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pablo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Strasser counters with a lovely straight right hand! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Pablo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Strasser scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Nice uppercut lands for Strasser. That snapped Pablo's head back.
Pablo is rocked! Strasser is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Strasser fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Oh Pablo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Strasser tries to bum rush Pablo with a series of wild strikes but Pablo uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Pablo seems to have got his legs back now. Strasser cracks Pablo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Strasser has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pablo to stand back up! Strasser is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Strasser slaps away a takedown attempt from Pablo, before circling back to the center of the mat. Strasser looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pablo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Strasser as he avoids it easily. Pablo takes a body punch but keeps moving. Strasser fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pablo looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Pablo avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Strasser listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Strasser closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Pablo! Strasser dives in looking to finish! Pablo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rosen Strasser!
