Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reza Katebi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sudo Nym (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nym is looking to clinch but Katebi is avoiding it.
Katebi throws a leg kick but Nym sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Nym takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nym takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Nym feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nym might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Katebi haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Katebi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Nym can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Nym working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
