Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jake Coleman! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gabriel lands a body shot.

He's landed in Gabriel's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Gabriel is pulling down on Coleman's head to control his posture. Coleman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Gabriel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Gabriel wants to sweep here but Coleman controlling him for the moment. Gabriel working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coleman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coleman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Gabriel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coleman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gabriel is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coleman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Coleman connects with a couple of short punches.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gabriel is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Gabriel manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Coleman manages to get himself to full guard.

Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gabriel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gabriel postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Coleman is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gabriel, into his guard. Gabriel working a defensive guard here.
Gabriel has his foot on Coleman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coleman works his way back into a safe position though. Coleman passes into half guard. Gabriel tries to roll over but Coleman keeps him under control. Gabriel works his way to full guard. Good work.

Gabriel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Gabriel keeping moving, preventing Coleman from controlling successfully. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Coleman's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Coleman controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gabriel lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Coleman wants to stand and escape but Gabriel is having none of it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Coleman is pulling down on Gabriel's head to control his posture. Coleman looking for a sweep. Not yet Coleman, not yet. Coleman looking for a guillotine here but Gabriel defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jacques Gabriel will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gabriel misses with a takedown attempt and Coleman counters with a nice double leg into guard. Coleman connects with a couple of short punches. Gabriel looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Coleman is defending well. Gabriel quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Coleman has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Gabriel celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
