The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas throws a lazy right hand but Carter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Carter tries to clinch there but Thomas circles away.
Thomas drives through with a takedown into Carter's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
