The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morimune closes the distance and clinches up with Geerts, looking for a takedown. Morimune pushes Geerts against the ropes but Geerts circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Morimune takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Geerts chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Morimune can pounce on him.
Geerts misses with a double jab.
Morimune tries to move into range but Geerts moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Morimune is rocked!

Geerts ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oh Morimune is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A head kick misses from Morimune.
Morimune seems to have got his legs back now.
Geerts misses with a series of wild punches.
Morimune fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Morimune slips a jab from Geerts.
Greer Morimune seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morimune throws a head kick that misses.
Geerts throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Morimune misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Morimune throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Geerts avoids the head kick by Morimune.

A jab from Geerts finds it's way through Morimune's defenses.
A slow jab from Geerts misses its intended target.
Morimune dodges the punch combination from Geerts.
Geerts sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Morimune's defenses. It connects perfectly with Morimune's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
