The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aslamanov dives in and grabs King's left leg, looking for a takedown. King pushes down on Aslamanov's head and hops out.
King shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Aslamanov is looking for a sweep. King is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Aslamanov on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
King drops an elbow to the side of Aslamanov's head.
King passes the guard and advances to mount!

King loads up with a big shot that hurts Aslamanov! He's pulled King in close but King has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Aslamanov survive? More strikes from King and Aslamanov is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!

A relieved looking Samir King thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
