The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timothy shoots in for a takedown but Wyatt shows good takedown defense.
Wyatt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Timothy circles away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Wyatt. That's going to slow Timothy down.

Timothy seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Wyatt does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Timothy dives in and grabs Wyatt's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wyatt pushes down on Timothy's head and hops out.

Timothy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wyatt's waist but Wyatt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Timothy off to one side.
A nice combination there by Timothy.
