Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Philip Pendred!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pendred is trying hard to land a takedown here. Doe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pendred fails with a takedown attempt.
Doe misses with a jab to the body
and Doe takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Joe Doe has been cut.
Doe throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pendred sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Pendred shoots in looking for a takedown. Doe tries to sprawl out of it but Pendred keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doe manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Joe Doe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Philip Pendred.
Doe throws a jab but it's blocked by Pendred.
Pendred takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A jab lands there for Doe.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Pendred avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Doe slaps away a takedown attempt from Pendred, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Doe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pendred slips under a jab from Doe.

Doe connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Pendred shoots in for a double leg but Doe sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Joe Doe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Doe lands a big right hand that sends Pendred crashing to the mat! Doe stays standing though and waves Pendred back to his feet!

Pendred is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pendred looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Doe drops Pendred with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pendred looks back up at him and smiles so Doe waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Pendred is still on wobbly legs! Can Doe finish him?
Doe cracks Pendred with a left hook right on the temple and Pendred goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Doe lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Pendred is OK!
