Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lee Rowlands!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Lynch!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lynch looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rowlands fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Lynch changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rowlands looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Rowlands is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Lynch is controlling him well.
Rowlands is looking for a sweep.
Lynch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lynch is staying tight to Rowlands's torso, preventing him from escaping.
Lynch gets to mount! Rowlands was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Rowlands wants to hold on but Lynch pushes him away.
Rowlands is looking to get to half guard.
Lynch tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Lynch manages to capitalize on a mistake by Rowlands to take his back!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lynch avoiding Rowlands 's attempts to control his hands.
Rowlands tries to escape but Lynch has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Rowlands looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Rowlands wants to get back to his feet.

Lynch keeps control of the position as Rowlands tries to break free.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rowlands trying to control the action but Lynch just sinks the hooks in.
Rowlands holding both Lynch 's hands and preventing any damage.

Lynch has good solid back control here.

Rowlands tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Lynch wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rowlands wants to hold on but Lynch pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lynch get's back to his feet.

Lynch tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rowlands swivels and escapes.
Lee Rowlands is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lynch shoots in and drives through. Rowlands sprawls well.
Lynch is breathing heavily.

Lynch drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rowlands wants to control but Lynch postures up.
Rowlands is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Rowlands tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Lynch presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Rowlands wants to control but Lynch is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Rowlands has given up his back here.

Peter Lynch showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Rowlands's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Lynch shoots in looking for a takedown. Rowlands tries to sprawl out of it but Lynch keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rowlands manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rowlands is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lynch fails with a takedown attempt.
Lynch has a takedown stuffed.
Lee Rowlands has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Lynch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rowlands tries to clinch up.
Lynch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Rowlands tries to work over Lynch's front leg with a kick but Lynch checks it.

Rowlands lands with a nice combination. Lynch backs away looking to recover.
Rowlands throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Rowlands closes the distance and clinches.
Rowlands stalling in the clinch but Lynch improves position.

Rowlands breaks from the clinch.
Rowlands shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lynch decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rowlands's guard.
Rowlands will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Lynch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rowlands is keeping the position for now.
Rowlands is looking to stand up but Lynch isn't so interested in that idea.

Rowlands is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lynch shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rowlands's guard.

Rowlands can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Lynch controls the pace.

Lynch decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Rowlands throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Rowlands shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Lynch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lynch.
