Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Filiberto Rhodes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tuneock Mast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Filiberto Rhodes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tuneock Mast! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rhodes misses with a low kick. Mast pushes Rhodes up against the cage in a clinch. Rhodes trying to land knees to the body.
Rhodes is trying to stall.
Mast escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mast tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rhodes swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mast closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rhodes's guard. Rhodes wants to stand but Mast is controlling the position. Rhodes will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rhodes can't keep his opponent in guard - Mast advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Rhodes actively working from the bottom here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mast moves nicely into side control. Mast looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rhodes is pushing Mast's head away, looking to escape. Mast manages to hold on to the position though. Mast moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Rhodes tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mast decides to take the fight back to the feet. Rhodes gets tackled into the cage by Mast. Mast maintains the clinch. Mast's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Rhodes fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mast breaks the clinch.
Mast connects with an inside leg kick. Mast closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Rhodes did well to prevent Mast getting side control. Rhodes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mast decides to stand and escape the position. Mast shoots in and bounces Rhodes off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Mast postures up in Rhodes's guard and throws a big left but Rhodes blocks it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhodes keeping moving, preventing Mast from controlling successfully. Rhodes trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mast controlling from the top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Tuneock Mast hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Mast shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tuneock Mast dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Rhodes counters with a body kick that stops Mast in his tracks momentarily. Mast doesn't manage to clinch there - Rhodes circles away.
Mast blocks a head kick by Rhodes.
Mast throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mast swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rhodes counters with a flying knee. Nice. Mast lands a really nice looking cross but Rhodes seems unphased.
Mast drives through with a takedown into guard. Tuneock Mast has got the better of the ground game so far. Mast is stalling in the full guard. Mast advances position into side control! Mast is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rhodes will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mast wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rhodes, who protects the arm well. An elbow from Mast crashes against the mat.
Rhodes is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Mast asserts his dominance and retains side control. Rhodes is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rhodes tries to bench press Mast off him but Mast keeps the position. Rhodes tries to escape but Mast is in control. Mast misses with the ground and pound. Rhodes is trying to get back to his feet. Mast content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhodes tries to buck Mast off but Mast is having none of it. Mast stands up and we're back to a striking position. Mast moves into range and clinches up with Rhodes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mast connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rhodes's face.
It looks like Filiberto Rhodes has been cut. Mast escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tuneock Mast showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Filiberto Rhodes's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Rhodes has a hand on Mast's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Mast takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
That's one minute gone in the round. Mast content just to control the position here. Mast trying to control but Rhodes is having none of it. Mast takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Rhodes has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rhodes wants to get back to his feet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rhodes is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Mast.
Let's hope that Mast has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Mast is looking to control Rhodes but Rhodes is wriggling around and keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mast throwing sloppy strikes. Mast keeps control of the position easily here as Rhodes tries to buck him off.
Mast working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Mast looking for the choke but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rhodes defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Mast's arms. Mast patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Rhodes wants to get back to his feet. Filiberto Rhodes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tuneock Mast is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Mast tightening his grip on Rhodes, looking for the choke.
And that's the end of the fight! Tuneock Mast comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Mast has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
