Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Kang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yi Chang Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Fedor Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yi Chang Lee!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kang is looking for the choke from the back position but Chang Lee is controlling his hands well.

Chang Lee uses his free foot to push down on Kang's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kang.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yi Chang Lee dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Chang Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kang paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Kang misses with a takedown attempt - Chang Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Chang Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chang Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chang Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Chang Lee pushes down on Kang's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Chang Lee is working for a submission of some sort.
Kang avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chang Lee.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chang Lee not doing much here.
Chang Lee moves into full mount! Kang won't be happy about that!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Kang is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yi Chang Lee showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Chang Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kang swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kang throws a right and a left that both miss.

Chang Lee is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kang is looking to stand up but Chang Lee won't let him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chang Lee is on top in guard.
Chang Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Chang Lee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Chang Lee tries to move into full mount but can't pass Kang's legs.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Kang wants to get back to his feet but Chang Lee drags him back down.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fedor Kang.
Well Chang Lee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
