Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitri Pavluchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonny Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dmitri Pavluchenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jonny Malone! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pavluchenko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Malone was covering up waiting for the punch and Pavluchenko finishes the takedown easily into guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Malone trying to control the position here. Malone has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pavluchenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malone throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavluchenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Malone swivels though and keeps the full guard. Malone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pavluchenko defends it easily. Malone is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pavluchenko is aware though and is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Malone will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Malone tries to strike from the bottom.
Malone pulls Pavluchenko in close to prevent any damage. Pavluchenko tries to free his leg and advance position but Malone is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
We're going to have a standup here because Dmitri Pavluchenko wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Malone gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Malone looking for a guillotine here but Pavluchenko defends easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Malone wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Pavluchenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Malone on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pavluchenko wants to pass the guard but Malone is keeping the position. Pavluchenko throwing strikes but missing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Dmitri Pavluchenko will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Malone misses with the combination.
Malone shoots in looking for a takedown. Pavluchenko tries to sprawl out of it but Malone keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pavluchenko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Pavluchenko shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Malone is pressing down on Pavluchenko's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malone is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Pavluchenko looking to pass the guard. Pavluchenko has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
We're going to have a standup here because Dmitri Pavluchenko wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Malone misses with a hook
and Pavluchenko counters with a thumping low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malone shoots in but no luck this time. Pavluchenko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Malone's half guard. Malone flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Malone keeps control of the position for the meantime. Malone is looking to control Pavluchenko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Malone avoid being mounted?

The ref stands the fighters back up. Dmitri Pavluchenko wasn't doing enough on the ground. Malone throws a jab when Pavluchenko was well out of range. Malone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pavluchenko. Pavluchenko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Pavluchenko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Dmitri Pavluchenko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pavluchenko throwing strikes from guard but Malone blocks nicely. Pavluchenko got a little sloppy there for a moment and Malone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pavluchenko has managed to get both his arms back between Malone's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Dmitri Pavluchenko will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Pavluchenko feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Malone looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Malone throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Malone has his foot on Pavluchenko's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pavluchenko works his way back into a safe position though.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dmitri Pavluchenko just wasn't active enough. Malone shoots in looking for a takedown but Pavluchenko manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Malone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Pavluchenko closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Malone is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pavluchenko's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pavluchenko is stalling here. Malone is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pavluchenko seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Malone has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jonny Malone. I think Pavluchenko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
