Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerrell Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerrell Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Justin Law! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Law stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Law wants it to stay on the feet. Young blocks a head kick by Law.
Young really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Young circles away from the clinch attempt.
Young closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Young drags the fight down to the ground.
Law throws a big elbow that misses. Law throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Law seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Young will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Law trying to control but Young is working from the bottom.
Justin Law has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Law misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Law throws a head kick that misses. Law is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Young's half guard. Law has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Young is staying active underneath Law, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Law throwing shots but Young is blocking nicely. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Law lands a nice short elbow. Young gets caught napping as Law dives in and scores a takedown. Young manages to retain guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Young keeping moving, preventing Law from controlling successfully. Young utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Law postures up in Young's guard and throws a big left but Young blocks it. Young is looking to stand up but Law isn't so interested in that idea. Young preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Young trying to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Law postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Law decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Young shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Law pinned against the cage. Law gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Law moves into the clinch. Young is trying to pull guard but Law turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerrell Young. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Young escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Law throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Law decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Young moves into full guard.
Law trying to control but Young is working from the bottom. Law in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Young working a defensive guard here.

Justin Law dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Law gets a double leg takedown into Young's guard. Law landing some decent shots from guard. Law has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Young is proving hard to escape from. Law postures up.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Law throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Law wants to control from the top but Young keeps moving. Law thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Law missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Law landing with the ground and pound. Young keeping moving, preventing Law from controlling successfully. Young looking to control.
Law trying to control the position from guard on top but Young is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Law throws a big right hand that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Law accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Law postures up in Young's guard and throws a big left but Young blocks it. Young working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Law. Law trying to control the position from guard on top but Young is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Young pulls Law in to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Young closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Law is pushing Young's head away, looking to escape. Young manages to hold on to the position though. Law can't do much from the bottom here. Law gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Young thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Law's head. Young looks to land a strike but Law avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Young throwing strikes from guard but Law blocks nicely. Young has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Law can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Young controls the pace. Law pushes Young off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Law tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Young has a takedown stuffed. Law stuffs a takedown. Justin Law showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

and Young counters with a three punch combo that has Law backing up. Law nods at Young to acknowledge the strikes. Law displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Young. Young avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Law tries to bum rush Young with a series of wild strikes but Young uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Young tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Law shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Young napping and manages to drive through into side control! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Law is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Young has escaped the position, nice work there. Young tries to bench press Law off him but Law keeps the position. Law working away. Young is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Check out the look on Law's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Law tries for a kimura but Young is defending well. Law is chipping away with strikes.
Young is looking to reverse the position. Law advances nicely into full mount. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Young wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Law.
Law thowing shots but they're missing. Law with a couple of short strikes. Young is squirming around, avoiding Law's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Law might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Young haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Law dominating with strikes here. Justin Law has got the better of the ground game so far. Law controlling from mount. Young wants to hold on but Law pushes him away. Law in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Young is rocked! Oooooh, big shot lands for Law! Young is hurt baaadly! Law is firing away with more strikes - Young is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
