Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Droppings Hudston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lloyd Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudston lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Hudston could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Thomas throws a lazy right hand but Hudston sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hudston jabs at Thomas's body.
Hudston displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Thomas.

Thomas closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hudston's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Thomas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Hudston has momentary wrist control but Thomas slips an elbow through the middle.

Thomas working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Thomas connects with a nice short shot to Hudston's temple.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
