Maximus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is No Surrender . Duke Maximus has the better chin. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands with a thumping leg kick.
Maximus takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Maximus scores with a leg kick.
White has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
White throws a series of punches but Maximus moves out of range.

Maximus moves into the clinch.
White tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Maximus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Maximus.
A punch lands to the side of Maximus 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Maximus feints and then cracks White's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow White down.
Maximus throws a head kick that White semi-blocks.
White misses with an uppercut. Maximus saw that one coming.
White throws a body punch but Maximus moves out of range.
White lands a jab to the nose.
Maximus throws a leg kick which misses White's front leg but catches the back leg as White tries to avoid it.
Maximus doesn't manage to clinch there - White circles away.
Maximus lands a leg kick that knocks White off balance momentarily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Maximus.
Maximus connects with an inside leg kick.
White looks winded!
Maximus throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Maximus takes the fight into the clinch.
White is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maximus is defending well for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Maximus connects with a nasty looking knee right to White's face.
Maximus looking to throw knees to the head but White is blocking nicely.

Maximus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Maximus lands a head kick that bluckles White and drops him to the canvas. He's still conscious but it looks like it's going to take him the full 10 seconds to get back his senses! He's up on 9 and seems to be just about OK to continue.... the referee agrees and we're back to the action with Maximus no doubt looking to push for a finish!

Maximus lands a head kick that sends White down! White is flopping around the mat trying to get back up, leaving the referee no choice but to wave off the fight! Maximus is victorious!
