Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Clyde Blankenship!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brod Peck!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peck misses with a double jab
and Blankenship finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Peck lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Blankenship circles away quickly and effectively.
Peck falls off balance throwing a combination

and Blankenship moves into the clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Blankenship just misses with a elbow thrown towards Peck's brow.

Blankenship breaks the clinch.
Peck misses with a wild combination.
Blankenship shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Peck as he avoids it easily.
Peck looks to land a combination but Blankenship avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Peck lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Peck throws a combination that misses
letting Blankenship counter with a right hand.

Peck drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Blankenship is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Peck is controlling him well.
Peck in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Peck tries for a kimura but Blankenship is defending well.
You can see the frustration on Blankenship's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blankenship is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Peck is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Peck is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blankenship knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Blankenship really is a fat lump.
Blankenship is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Peck is controlling him well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Peck is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Blankenship looks calm but he's in trouble here. Peck gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Blankenship is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Peck lets go of the hold and Blankenship can pop his arm back in it's socket.
