Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jussi Ahma! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Hung! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ahma misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ahma is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Hung throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ahma. Ahma is looking to clinch. Ahma shoots for a takedown but Hung saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Hung throws a right and a left that Ahma avoids nicely. Hung rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ahma moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hung throws a hook to the side of Ahma's head but Ahma sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ahma will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jussi Ahma. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hung swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hung looks to land a combination. Ahma sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Ahma tests Hung's chin there with a solid looking shot.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hung manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hung throws a right and a left that Ahma avoids nicely. Hung lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ahma circles away quickly and effectively. Ahma changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hung looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Hung on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hung is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Hung avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Ahma. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hung gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Hung is squirming around, avoiding Ahma's attempts to control the action. Ahma connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ahma cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ahma landing strikes from the mount. Ahma is in the full mount, landing strikes. Hung looks gassed! Ahma fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hung is rocked! A nice elbow there by Ahma. Hung is still in real trouble! Can Ahma finish him? Hung gets back to half guard. Ahma is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Ahma is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hung is just riding it out for now. Ahma eventually gives up the hold. Ahma prevents Hung from improving his position. Hung seems to have recovered his senses. Ahma throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ahma throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hung moves into full guard.
Ahma with a nice head shot there. Ahma loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hung is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ahma passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ahma cracks Hung with a big right hand but Hung just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ahma swings around for an armbar but Hung sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ahma's guard. Hung must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hung passes easily into side control. Nice work. Ahma manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hung's best efforts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ahma slips a jab from Hung. Hung lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ahma circles away quickly and effectively. Ahma looks for a takedown but Hung sprawls well. Hung with a nice cross. Hung drops Ahma with a beautiful combination! Ahma stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hung is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jussi Ahma has been cut. Ahma avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ahma shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ahma was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hung is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hung is trying to escape the mount.
Ahma has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ahma has control of Hung's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hung regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Hung keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ahma on the wrong end of a nice jab. Ahma shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hung pinned against the cage. Hung gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Hung misses with a two punch combination.

Ahma with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hung to score with a decent uppercut. Ahma moves in looking to clinch but Hung pushes him off. Hung throws a right and a left that Ahma avoids nicely. Hung throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ahma looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Hung is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ahma rather than just go for the knockout. Hung sizes up Ahma with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Ahma scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. This has been an exciting period of action! Hung gets back to half guard. Ahma is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hung keeping moving, preventing Ahma from controlling successfully. Hung is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Ahma sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hung's guard. Hung trying to control from the bottom.
Ahma throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Ahma slips a nice elbow through Hung's hands, connecting with Hung's forehead. Hung blocking the ground and pound attempt from Ahma. Ahma looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Ahma is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ahma is tying to control. Hung wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Ahma missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hung throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hung uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ahma. Sam Hung has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hung just misses with a punch to the body.
Hung will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jussi Ahma is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Ahma shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
