Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Osoto Gari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomas Sigurdson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomas Sigurdson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Gari.
Gari throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gari tries to clinch up.
Gari tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sigurdson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Sigurdson looks for a takedown but Gari sprawls well.
Sigurdson shoots in but no luck this time.
Gari connects with a solid leg kick.
A nice inside leg kick there by Gari. That's going to slow Sigurdson down.
Gari shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gari was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Gari fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Sigurdson.

Gari is looking to advance position but Sigurdson won't allow it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sigurdson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gari as he jumps to the side.
Gari throws a leg kick which misses Sigurdson's front leg but catches the back leg as Sigurdson tries to avoid it.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Sigurdson! Submission of the night perhaps?
