Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luca Fietsora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rubey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fietsora comes to the cage accompanied by PRONG - Whose Fist Is This Anyway? . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Luca Fietsora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chris Rubey! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rubey has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Fietsora. Rubey misses with a hook. Rubey throws a leg kick but Fietsora sees it coming and checks it nicely. Rubey loads up on a big right hand but Fietsora slips the punch. Fietsora ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rubey moves away. Fietsora takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Fietsora throws a head kick but Rubey moves out of range.
Rubey throws out a loose jab but Fietsora uses good head movement to avoid it. Fietsora misses with a straight right. Fietsora defending well as Rubey loads up on a big left hand. Fietsora fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rubey misses with a looping right. Fietsora slips under a jab. Fietsora takes a body punch but keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fietsora wants to clinch. Rubey throws out a loose jab but Fietsora uses good head movement to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. A good leg kick by Fietsora. Rubey blocks a head kick by Fietsora.
Fietsora displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rubey throws out the jab. Rubey lands the left hand. Rubey takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Rubey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Fietsora on the side of the head. Fietsora fails in his attempt to clinch. Fietsora wants to clinch. Rubey tries to bum rush Fietsora with a series of wild strikes but Fietsora uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fietsora is looking to clinch but Rubey is avoiding it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rubey throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Fietsora counters with an inside leg kick. A big left from Rubey misses. Luca Fietsora is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Fietsora lands a head kick!
It looks like Chris Rubey has been cut. A head kick misses from Fietsora. Rubey lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Fietsora backs up against the cage.
Luca Fietsora seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fietsora tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rubey thuds a left hand into Fietsora's body. Rubey scores with a jab to the body. Fietsora tries to score with a low kick but Rubey moves his leg out of the way. Fietsora throws a head kick but Rubey moves out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round. A slapping leg kick lands for Fietsora.
Rubey throws a looping overhand right but Fietsora ducks down to avoid it. Fietsora throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Rubey falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fietsora finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Fietsora drives through and clinches with Rubey against the cage.

Fietsora scores with a shot to the side of Rubey's head. A short right from Fietsora. Rubey blocking some punches.

Fietsora blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Fietsora lands a body punch in the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A shot in the inside from Fietsora. Fietsora misses with some punches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fietsora. Rubey has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Fietsora clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Rubey missing with strikes. Rubey scores with strikes from the back.
Rubey has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rubey loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Fietsora hold on?
Rubey lands shots from the back. Fietsora has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Rubey. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rubey lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Fietsora hold on?!
Rubey is hanging on to Fietsora's back as he tries to escape.
Rubey throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Fietsora!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Rubey dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chris Rubey's cut. That's time! Fietsora's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fietsora tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Rubey counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fietsora won't be happy with that. Sloppy strikes there by Rubey. Rubey trying to control the position but Fietsora is working away. Fietsora is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rubey's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Fietsora is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rubey pulls his head out easily. Rubey is controlling the pace.
Rubey is trying to control. Fietsora wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rubey looks to land a strike but Fietsora avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Fietsora keeping moving, preventing Rubey from controlling successfully. Rubey in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Rubey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rubey's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Rubey trying to control the position from guard on top but Fietsora is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rubey loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Fietsora seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fietsora has momentary wrist control but Rubey slips an elbow through the middle. Fietsora has his foot on Rubey's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rubey works his way back into a safe position though. Fietsora trying to control the position.
Rubey is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fietsora working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Rubey has passed into half guard!
Rubey passes the guard and advances to mount! Rubey pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Fietsora wants to hold on but Rubey pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rubey putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Rubey avoids the attempt from Fietsora to control. Rubey lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Fietsora is trying to escape the mount.
Rubey with the ground and pound from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rubey postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Fietsora bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Rubey and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Rubey! A relieved looking Chris Rubey thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
