Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Slavonik Powarenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Slavonik Powarenko has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Slavonik Powarenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Adrian Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Adrian Lewis has been cut.
Powarenko looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Powarenko doesn't manage to clinch there - Lewis circles away.
Powarenko fails with a takedown attempt.
Powarenko pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lewis back to the cage. Powarenko follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Powarenko shoots for a takedown but Lewis saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Powarenko displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lewis.
No luck for Lewis with that takedown attempt.
Slavonik Powarenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Lewis.
Powarenko throws a right and a left that Lewis avoids nicely.

Powarenko fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lewis sprawls well initially but Powarenko persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Powarenko is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lewis has managed to free his arm - good work.

Powarenko is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Lewis sees it coming and defends easily.

Let's hope that Lewis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

A jab-cross combination lands for Powarenko and sends Lewis crashing to the mat! Powarenko follows him down to the mat - Lewis regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Powarenko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Lewis looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Lewis looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Lewis!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Powarenko is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Powarenko is staying active underneath Lewis, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Lewis takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Lewis seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Powarenko does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Adrian Lewis has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Powarenko fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lewis to the ground. Powarenko is now in Lewis's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Powarenko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lewis dives on top into guard.

Lewis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Powarenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lewis has managed to get both his arms back between Powarenko's legs - danger averted.

Powarenko postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Lewis is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Powarenko, into his guard.

Powarenko has his foot on Lewis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lewis works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close second round but I would say that Slavonik Powarenko will probably get the nod.

Powarenko throws a right hand that Lewis ducks under and follows up with a left that Lewis also avoids with ease.

Powarenko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lewis is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Powarenko has gone for a leg lock! Lewis slips out almost immediately though and dives into Powarenko's guard.

Powarenko has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lewis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Powarenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lewis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Powarenko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Lewis is looking to work some ground and pound but Powarenko has wrist control.

Adrian Lewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Powarenko has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
