Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoko Wakari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yoko Wakari is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Joe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Yoko Wakari! The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Wakari lands a jab to the head.
Wakari fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Joe tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Wakari fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Joe, pushing him back against the cage. Wakari is trying to trip Joe. He has hold of a leg but Joe is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Wakari persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Joe has a closed guard, preventing Wakari from standing up. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Wakari wants to stand and escape but instead Joe has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wakari is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Joe is controlling him. Wakari pushes Joe off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Joe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Wakari tries to avoid it but Joe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Wakari to the ground. Wakari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wakari closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Joe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Wakari off and has taken his back! Joe looking to break Wakari's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Wakari remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Joe will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Wakari holding both Joe 's hands and preventing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wakari is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Joe looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Wakari taps!
