Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lyo Wuan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Kramer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kramer has chosen I'm Shipping Up To Boston as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Diego Kramer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyo Wuan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Diego Kramer! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kramer tries a head kick but it misses.
Wuan drives through with a takedown into guard. Wuan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kramer controls Wuan momentarily but Wuan frees himself. Wuan slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kramer pulls Wuan in close to prevent any damage. Kramer keeping moving, preventing Wuan from controlling successfully.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Kramer tries to clinch there but Wuan circles away.
Kramer swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kramer closes the distance and clinches. Wuan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wuan jumps guard but Kramer stands there with Wuan around his waist. Wuan gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wuan on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Kramer using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Wuan has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Wuan can't get the takedown.

Kramer blocks a body shot from Wuan. Wuan takes a shot to the head. Wuan throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Kramer swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Kramer throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Wuan blocks it with crossed arms. A nice left hand lands by Kramer.
Kramer is trying to maintain a safe position but Wuan gets an underhook and turns Kramer into the cage. Wuan blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Wuan avoiding damage as Kramer throws knees to the body.
Kramer unloads a knee to the mid-section. Wuan lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Wuan avoiding damage as Kramer throws knees to the body.
Kramer gets through Wuan's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kramer tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wuan avoids it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kramer on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Wuan keeps control of Kramer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Kramer lands a knee to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kramer trying to land knees to the body.
Wuan misses with a hook to the ribs.
Wuan jumps into guard, dragging Kramer to the mat.
Wuan looking for a guillotine here but Kramer defends easily.
Wuan working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Kramer has passed into half guard!
Kramer seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Wuan moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Kramer trying to control the position from guard on top but Wuan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wuan trying to keep a closed guard but Kramer is proving a slippery customer.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wuan is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Kramer has his hands clasped together but Wuan extends and breaks Kramer's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Wuan.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Lyo Wuan! Lyo Wuan decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
