The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fuhrer slaps away a takedown attempt from Hamilton, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Hamilton blocks a leg kick.
Hamilton shoots in and gets a takedown into Fuhrer's guard.
Fuhrer has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Hamilton has passed into side control.
Fuhrer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Hamilton has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Hamilton creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Fuhrer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Hamilton sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

That's time! Hamilton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Fuhrer gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Hamilton is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hamilton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Gunther Fuhrer hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hamilton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Hamilton really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fuhrer is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hamilton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Hamilton is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fuhrer is pressing down on Hamilton's thigh, looking to free his foot. Hamilton is holding on for now.
Fuhrer is trying to control the action in half guard but Hamilton is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hamilton is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fuhrer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fuhrer's back!

Hamilton doesn't have the hooks in and Fuhrer manages to turn into his guard.

Hamilton throws an elbow that misses. Fuhrer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Hamilton's guard. Nice move by Fuhrer!
Hamilton manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fuhrer manages to get himself to full guard.

Hamilton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Fuhrer, up you get!

Hamilton closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Fuhrer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hamilton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
