Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Ali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawson has chosen m.A.A.d city as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ali misses with a takedown attempt - Dawson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ali on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Dawson. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Dawson is trying to trip Ali. He has hold of a leg but Ali is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Dawson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Ali seems a little lost for a moment, as Dawson dominates the positioning.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ali tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Dawson presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ali. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Well Dawson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
