The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan walks into a left hand.
Morgan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Nice cross by James.
James keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Morgan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Morgan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from James. That one must have hurt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morgan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
James gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A nice left hand lands by James.
James lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
It looks like Andrew Morgan has been cut.
James drops Morgan with a big knee straight up the middle! Morgan is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Morgan is rocked!
James clinches.
Morgan is still on wobbly legs! Can James finish him?
Morgan takes an elbow to the temple.
Morgan is pressed against the cage. James pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Morgan! Two more big strikes from James and Morgan crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Caliph James!
A very excited looking Caliph James made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
