Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Moon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Parsons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Billy Parsons enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eduardo Moon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Parsons! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parsons tries to clinch there but Moon circles away.
Moon avoids the head kick by Parsons.
A left and a right from Parsons both land. Nice combination. Moon circles away from the clinch attempt.
Parsons scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Parsons tries to score with some ground and pound. Moon controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Parsons wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Moon, who protects the arm well. Moon avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Parsons. Moon wants to get back to his feet but Parsons drags him back down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parsons decides to stand back up. Parsons tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Parsons lands with a good body shot. Moon throws a body kick that misses. Parsons scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Moon gets full guard. Moon can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Parsons controls the pace. Parsons wants to stand and escape but instead Moon has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Parsons throws his legs up looking for a submission but Moon uses it to pass to side control.
Parsons looks to move to half guard but instead Moon has passed into mount! Damn! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moon lands a couple of good shots and Parsons has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Moon is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Moon lands with a hammerfist to the side of Parsons's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moon is not going to allow Parsons to sit and survive in this position. Moon landing with strikes. Parsons really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Moon looking to break Parsons's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Parsons remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Moon will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Parsons is trying to get back to his feet but Moon has full control of the position and if anything, Parsons has just worked his way into a worse spot. Parsons trying to control the hands but Moon breaks the grip. Moon has the hooks in. Parsons is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moon is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Parsons. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Moon has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Parsons has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moon scores with strikes from the back.
Moon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Parsons is really stuck here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Parsons keeps trying to improve his position. Moon tightening his grip on Parsons, looking for the choke. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eduardo Moon dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Parsons, as that shot connected.
Moon tries to keep at a distance but Parsons has taken the fight into the clinch. Parsons trying to land knees to the body.
Moon has Parsons pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parsons manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Moon has clasped his hands together around Parsons's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Moon is working Parsons over with some ground and pound from side control. Parsons regains half guard. Parsons is holding on to half guard well. Parsons wants to control but Moon passes into side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Parsons struggling a bit here. Moon is trying to get an arm triangle but Parsons is defending well. Parsons is trying to get back to half guard. Parsons is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Moon off and has taken his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moon defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Parsons's arms. Moon trying to get back to his feet but Parsons is in full control for now. Parsons tries to keep control of the position but Moon is staying busy. Parsons is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Eduardo Moon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moon looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Moon staying busy and making it hard for Parsons to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Parsons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Parsons rushes Moon and presses him up against the cage. Moon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Parsons to keep the fight standing. Parsons gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Moon regains guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Parsons stands up from Moon's guard - Parsons perhaps looking for a knockout. Parsons drives through and clinches with Moon against the cage.
Moon has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Moon is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Parsons to keep the fight standing. Moon's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Parsons wants to clinch up but Moon keeps it at a distance. Billy Parsons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parsons misses with a series of wild punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Parsons as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eduardo Moon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Moon is looking to land body kicks. Moon doesn't manage to clinch there - Parsons circles away.
Parsons changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Parsons just content to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Parsons's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Billy Parsons hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Parsons feints and as Moon raises his hands in defense, Parsons changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Parsons stands up and waves to Moon to follow him. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Parsons tries to clinch but Moon is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Parsons moves in looking to clinch but Moon pushes him off. Moon tries to clinch up. Parsons throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moon was covering up waiting for the punch and Parsons finishes the takedown easily into guard. Parsons postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Parsons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moon swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Parsons in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Parsons stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Parsons is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Eduardo Moon. Parsons scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Parsons takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Parsons stands up and we're back to a striking position.
And that's the end of the fight! Billy Parsons comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Parsons has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
