Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, JT Redman! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ali Imushagh! The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Imushagh takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Imushagh tries to clinch but Redman moves out of range. Imushagh throws a nice looking combination but Redman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Redman swats away the attempt to clinch by Imushagh. Redman misses with an uppercut. Imushagh shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Redman eats them both and turns towards Imushagh to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like JT Redman has been cut. Redman scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Imushagh doesn't seem bothered though. Redman lands a lovely overhand right. Redman keeps the fight on the outside. Redman throws an overhand right that lands on Imushagh's shoulder, as Imushagh tries to avoid the shot. A slapping leg kick lands for Redman.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Redman with a nice cross. Imushagh wants to clinch up but Redman keeps it at a distance. Redman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Imushagh circles away quickly and effectively. Imushagh tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Redman manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Imushagh doesn't manage to clinch there - Redman circles away.

Imushagh throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Redmans head. Redman pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes. Redman wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Imushagh with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Imushagh tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Redman paws at him with a jab and circles away. Imushagh moves into the clinch. Imushagh misses with the head strike.

Redman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Redman lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Redman circles away from the clinch attempt and Redman counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Redman throws a lazy right hand but Imushagh sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Imushagh tries to clinch but Redman is having none of it. Imushagh tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Redman was well out of range. Poor timing from Imushagh. Imushagh dodges the punch combination from Redman.
Redman fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Redman lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Redman keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Redman lands a head kick. Imushagh smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Imushagh is looking to take this fight into the clinch. A solid leg kick lands there for Redman.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fight stays on the outside here - Imushagh looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A nice leg kick lands there from Redman. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Redman throws a shot from downtown. Imushagh moves away and avoids it. Nice body punch from Redman.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:14 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). JT Redman! JT Redman is the new middleweight champion! In his post fight interview, JT Redman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
