Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darell Dickerson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darrel Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darell Dickerson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Darrel Kim! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dickerson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dickerson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kim motions for Dickerson to come forward. Kim throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Dickerson gets tackled into the cage by Kim. Kim maintains the clinch. Kim leaning against his opponent.
Dickerson is trying to stall.
A battle for position here, against the cage. Kim is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Dickerson to keep the fight standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dickerson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kim smiles and moves away.
Dickerson scores with a nice right hand.
Dickerson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kim looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dickerson darts in and clinches Kim up against the cage. Dickerson prevents Kim from breaking the clinch. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dickerson. Kim lands a takedown into guard.
Kim wanted to stand there but Dickerson had control of the position. Dickerson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kim manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim looking for a sweep. Not yet Kim, not yet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dickerson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kim looks winded! Dickerson postures up in Kim's guard and throws a big left but Kim blocks it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dickerson stands and steps away. Kim gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Kim misses with a wild body shot. Kim clinches with his opponent.
Kim goes for a takedown attempt but Dickerson pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Dickerson with a lazy takedown attempt and Kim counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kim. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darell Dickerson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dickerson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kim defends it easily. Dickerson working a defensive guard here.
Kim got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dickerson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kim has managed to get both his arms back between Dickerson's legs - danger averted. Kim working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Dickerson looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kim passes into side control.
Dickerson prevents Kim from moving into mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim taking a breather here. Kim lands a nice forearm strike. Kim tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kim has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dickerson is trying to control Kim's posture but Kim avoids it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Darrel Kim dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Dickerson fails with the takedown. Dickerson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Dickerson keeping moving, preventing Kim from controlling successfully. Dickerson pulls Kim in close to prevent any damage. Dickerson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dickerson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kim stacks Dickerson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kim! Darrel Kim has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dickerson is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kim is chipping away with strikes.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kim wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dickerson, who protects the arm well. Kim has hold of Dickerson's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Dickerson seems comfortable defending it but Kim has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Dickerson is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Dickerson is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kim couldn't care less - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Darrel Kim!
