Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buster Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomb Raider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buster Waters! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tomb Raider! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Winston Howard and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raider closes the distance and pushes Waters back into the cage. Waters is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Raider to keep the fight standing. Waters pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Waters dives in for a single leg takedown but Raider sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Waters jumps guard but Raider turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buster Waters. That's going to take a lot out of him. Waters tries to work over Raider's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Waters tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Raider wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Raider's face as he tries to break the clinch. Waters tries to pull guard but Raider forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Waters jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Raider walks away with a smile on his face. Waters gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Raider bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Raider decides to take the fight back to the feet. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Waters shoots and misses and Raider counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Raider. Waters really is a fat lump. Raider has picked Waters up - he's going for a ride! Raider dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Raider is working for a submission of some sort.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raider sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Waters defending well though. Raider controlling the pace. Raider stands up and beckons Waters to join him on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raider closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Check out the look on Raider's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Waters seems a little lost for a moment, as Raider dominates the positioning. Raider prevents Waters from escaping the position. Raider is working Waters over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raider decides to stand back up. Raider steps back and let's Waters get back to his feet. Raider throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Waters was covering up waiting for the punch and Raider finishes the takedown easily into guard. Waters is breathing heavily. Waters can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Raider controls the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Raider tries to free his leg and advance position but Waters is retaining full guard. Raider not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Waters might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tomb Raider has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Raider clinches. Waters is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Raider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Raider shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Waters is in trouble now - Raider has advanced to mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. BOOM! Raider connects with a massive shot to the dome!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tomb Raider dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Raider closes the distance and clinches. Raider jumps guard and drags Waters to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Raider is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Raider trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Waters is looking to stand up but Raider won't let him. Raider looking for a guillotine here but Waters defends easily.
Raider working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Waters. Raider wants to sweep but no luck. Waters trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Raider trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Waters wants to control from the top but Raider keeps moving. Raider has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Waters makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Raider looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Raider not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Waters would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Waters trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Waters accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raider can do anything to dispel that myth. Waters wants to control from the top but Raider keeps moving. Raider is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Raider working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Waters. Waters missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Waters throws an elbow that misses. Raider uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Waters's guard. Nice move by Raider!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Raider advances position into side control! Raider works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Raider stands up and beckons Waters to his feet. Waters fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Raider avoids it really well and circles away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Waters shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Raider defends it nicely. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raider closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Raider lands in his opponent's guard. Raider looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Raider wants to pass the guard but Waters is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Raider trying to move into half guard but instead Waters has managed to sweep! Raider avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Waters is fighting to break Raider's control of his arms but Raider is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Waters throws a big right hand that misses. Raider is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tomb Raider showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Raider tries to pass to full mount but Waters defends it. Tomb Raider has got the better of the ground game so far. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Raider in particular looking to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tomb Raider. Raider fails with an attempt to clinch.
Waters with a lazy takedown attempt and Raider counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Raider.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raider's corner is telling him to maintain position. Waters wants to get back to his feet but Raider is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Raider pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Waters is keeping the position for now. Waters can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Raider controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Buster Waters. Waters gets caught flat footed, as Raider shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raider postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Raider has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Raider pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Waters is keeping the position for now. Raider's corner is telling him to maintain position. Waters wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Raider manages to pass to side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Raider passes to full mount!
And that's the end of the fight! Tomb Raider comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Raider has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
