Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Almeida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and NiShagu Nazad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nazad comes into a darkened arena with his song building. USSR National Anthem kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Almeida gets the takedown into side control.
Nazad manages to work his way to half guard, despite Almeida's best efforts.
Almeida tries to pass the half guard into mount. Nazad knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Almeida could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Nazad pushes Almeida back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Nazad feints and as Almeida raises his hands in defense, Nazad changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Nazad is looking to work some ground and pound but Almeida has wrist control.

Nazad drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Almeida dives on top into guard.

Nazad feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nazad closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nazad lands in his opponent's guard.

Well Nazad has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
