The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Saam Ante and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blachowicz moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Jake Joseph has been cut.
Jan Blachowicz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Some wild striking there from Joseph.
Blachowicz misses with a lunging right hand
and Joseph holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Blachowicz has Joseph pressed against the cage, preventing Joseph from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Blachowicz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blachowicz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Joseph to the ground. Blachowicz is now in Joseph's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joseph blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Joseph is trying to drag Blachowicz to the mat but Blachowicz just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Blachowicz is trying to maintain a safe position but Joseph gets an underhook and turns Blachowicz into the cage.

Blachowicz throws a wild body kick that Joseph sees coming a mile off.

Blachowicz dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Joseph. That did some damage!
Joseph tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

A frustrated look appears on Joseph's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Joseph is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Joseph tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Blachowicz.
Blachowicz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blachowicz darts in and clinches Joseph up against the cage.
Joseph has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Joseph wants to break free but Blachowicz has control.
Joseph really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Joseph has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Blachowicz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Joseph escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Joseph tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Joseph takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Blachowicz fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Joseph, pushing him back against the cage.
Blachowicz lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Blachowicz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Joseph keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Joseph blocks a head kick by Blachowicz.
Blachowicz looks to throw a body kick
and Joseph counters with a head kick.
Blachowicz ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Blachowicz is breathing heavily.

Blachowicz lands a nice knee to the body.
Blachowicz manages to break the clinch.
Blachowicz closes the distance and pushes Joseph back into the cage.

Blachowicz batters Joseph with a massive right followed by a huge left! Joseph is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Blachowicz lands a final crushing right hand to drop Joseph to the mat with a gruesome thud! Blachowicz is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
