Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Bomb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Hess (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bomb's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Casino Royale Soundtrack - You Know My Name. Hess has chosen Demiurge as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hess swings and misses with a shot to the body
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Bomb pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bomb has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Bomb throws a body punch but Hess moves out of range.
Bomb cracks a nice hook into Hess's ribs.
Bomb ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hess throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hess on the wrong end of a nice hook.

It looks like Jon Hess has been cut.
A clash of legs there as Hess blocks the low kick.
Bomb lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hess throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bomb takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hess jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Bomb thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bomb cracks Hess with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've been informed that Hess has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Hess throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hess does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bomb. Hess does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hess throws a low kick but it's checked well by Bomb.

and Hess counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Hess staying out of range there.
Hess throws a leg kick that misses.
Hess moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
That kick from Hess tenderised Bomb's leg. Bomb is trying to keep his angry face on.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hess connects with a good right hand that stumbles Bomb. Bomb circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hess lands a leg kick that knocks Bomb off balance momentarily.
Bomb takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Hess throws a push kick but Bomb slaps the foot to one side.
Bomb takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Hess throws a chopping leg kick but Bomb manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Hess throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Bomb goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Bomb throws the kick towards the body but Hess avoids it.
Hess ducks under a wild hook from Bomb.
Hess misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bomb.
Hess attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Hess blocks a head kick by Bomb.
Bomb feints and then cracks Hess's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hess down.
Bomb throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Hess counters with a body kick.
Hess misses with a right hand
and Bomb counters with a nice kick to the body.
Bomb tried to score with a low kick but Hess checks it.
Bomb misses with a body punch
and Hess cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bomb throws a leg kick that is checked

and Hess counters with a nice right hand that sends Bomb toppling to the canvas! Bomb scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Hess finish him?!

Hess takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Hess circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Bomb to the canvas! Bomb doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hess keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
