Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Lamb of God - Descending. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Antonio Santana! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santana throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
George drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. George throws a big right hand that misses. George is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. George has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Santana working a defensive guard here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. George feints and as Santana raises his hands in defense, George changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. George trying to control but Santana is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santana can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as George controls the pace. George loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. George is pushing down on Santana's leg trying to pass to half guard. Santana is fighting to maintain full guard but George has managed to sneak the leg through. Santana felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Santana is not content to let George control the position. George is taking a breather. Santana says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. George looks to land a strike but Santana avoids it nicely and regains full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santana controlling the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Furious George wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. George closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Santana's guard. Santana wants to sweep here but George controlling him for the moment. George wants to control from the top but Santana keeps moving. Santana is pulling down on George's head. It's preventing any offense from George, at least for the moment. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Santana wants to sweep here but George controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Santana pulls George in to control the position. George pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Santana is keeping the position for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Antonio Santana. George closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Santana quickly recovers to half guard. George trying to control the action but Santana is working from the bottom. George is working for a submission of some sort.
Santana blocking the ground and pound attempt from George. Still in half guard, George seems content to control. George is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
George throws a strike but Santana avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. George trying to control but Santana is working from the bottom. George trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. George has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. George keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Santana's head. George in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Santana can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as George controls the pace. George trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. George stays in close to Santana's body and controls the position. George throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Furious George dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
George gets the takedown into side control. George is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Santana has escaped the position, nice work there. Santana has one of George's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. George throwing shots but missing, from side control. George wants to control but Santana is keeping him busy. Santana is trying to improve his position. George trying to control the position but Santana is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. George takes a little break here. Santana wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Santana is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Santana dodges the ground and pound from George. Santana is trying to control George's posture but George avoids it. Furious George overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. George wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Santana, who protects the arm well. George working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. George trying to control the position but Santana is working away. George landing strikes. George cracks Santana with a big right hand but Santana just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
George advances to full mount. George landing punches. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! George throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Santana is in all sorts of trouble here.
George unloads with some shots from mount but Santana bucks and avoids them well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. George controlling from mount. George tries to control but Santana wriggling away. Santana bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Santana wants to control from the top but George keeps moving. Santana must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's four minutes gone in the round. George is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. George has his foot on Santana's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Santana works his way back into a safe position though. Santana is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. George is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. George is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. George closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Santana can't do much from the bottom here. Santana is trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Furious George dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Santana is looking to clinch. George changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Santana looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. George has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Santana is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. George yanks on the arm and Santana is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by George.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Furious George! Our winner, Furious George, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
