The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zabaleth sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zabaleth is defended easily by Sigurdsson.
A shot to the liver by Sigurdsson. Beautiful body shot.
Zabaleth looks to land a left hand but Sigurdsson moved out of range nicely.
Sigurdsson lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Sigurdsson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Zabaleth misses with a double jab.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Sigurdsson has cracked Zabaleth with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Sigurdsson lands another huge swinging hook and Zabaleth tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Zabaleth, before Sigurdsson can land any more shots!
