Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walter Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qing Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fu's choice of entrance music: King Drum. Qing Fu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Walter Dunham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Qing Fu! The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dunham misses with a left hand and Fu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dunham throws an overhand right that lands on Fu's shoulder, as Fu tries to avoid the shot. Fu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Dunham to score an easy takedown into full guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Dunham drops back looking for a leg! Fu is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Fu manages to kick Dunham off! Dunham jumps back into Fu's guard. Dunham pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Fu is keeping the position for now. Fu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dunham is one step ahead there. Dunham looking to pass the guard. Fu working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dunham.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunham won't allow Fu to sweep him here. Fu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dunham. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dunham sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fu's guard. Fu moves into full guard.
Fu is adopting a defensive guard. Dunham drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Fu manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dunham has Fu in his guard. Dunham had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fu defends it easily. Fu trying to control but Dunham is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunham is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Fu has his hands clasped together but Dunham extends and breaks Fu's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dunham.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Walter Dunham! Walter Dunham took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Bad Man Clothing (Nothing Over $40) for their support in the buildup to the fight. Qing Fu spoke after the fight, saying 'I had a great-time , Regardless of the outcome ,I need to adjust some things, but I will be back.....Good-night'.
